Cosv_TVET_MENA
COSV works across the MENA region to strengthen TVET and employability systems in some of the world’s most fragile and crisis-affected contexts. Our approach goes beyond training: we build integrated skills ecosystems that connect governance, learning, and real economic opportunities.
A Systems Approach to TVET
COSV helps transform fragmented education and labour-market environments into coordinated, demand-driven systems. Through public–private–community partnerships, youth-led Labour Market Observatories, social-innovation hubs, and the pioneering school–enterprise model, we bring ministries, training institutes, SMEs, universities, and civil society around the same table to co-design solutions.
Training that Matches Market Needs
Our TVET offer is competency-based, inclusive, and future-oriented. Delivered through a strong network of local partners, it integrates technical skills, digital and green competencies, entrepreneurship, and soft skills. Women, youth, and vulnerable groups are at the centre of our programmes, supported by flexible and protective learning environments.
Pathways to Work and Entrepreneurship
Training is only the beginning. COSV connects learners to work-based experiences, apprenticeships, job-matching services, and tailored entrepreneurship pathways. From early-stage incubation to support for micro-businesses, family enterprises, and social enterprises, we help young people and communities turn skills into sustainable livelihoods.
Impact at Scale
With more than €20M mobilised, 70+ ecosystem partners, and 8,500 direct beneficiaries—55% women and 73% youth—COSV demonstrates that integrated TVET systems can drive social cohesion, inclusive local development, and long-term resilience.
Our work in Syria and Lebanon shows that when governance, education, and economic actors collaborate, TVET becomes a powerful engine for recovery and opportunity.
